Gaming Law

Kaempfer Crowell has historically been a leader in government affairs and administrative law representing gaming companies in Nevada. The Firm has expanded its practice to include Gaming and Regulatory Law with the addition of Dennis Neilander as Of Counsel.  Mr. Neilander was Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board from 2000 through 2010 - the longest serving chair in state history.  The addition of Mr. Neilander to the Firm’s already outstanding administrative and government affairs practice areas provides a full spectrum of services to its diverse client base.

The Firm represents gaming clients in the areas of local and state licensing and provides advice on corporate structures, financing options and other ancillary gaming issues including regulatory compliance related issues.  Additionally, the Firm provides advice on internet gaming.  Clients include some of the largest gaming companies in Nevada including casino companies, manufacturers of gaming equipment, gaming industry investors and gaming entrepreneurs.  Our long standing reputation and quality attorneys provide for excellent relationships with regulators and other state and local agencies with gaming related responsibilities.

The Firm also provides advice to governmental agencies with respect to best regulatory practices in gaming for governments in the U.S. and Internationally.  Currently, Mr. Neilander represents Singapore and Alderney in both land based and on-line gaming.  Kaempfer Crowell also provides assistance in the start up of gaming regulatory agencies and ongoing modernization of regulatory regimes.
